Most of the Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques have been evolved to work with the English
language only and most other languages including Sinhala are poorly addressed. The given paper constitutes a model
of sentiment analysis of the Sinhala language. The model is built on a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), trained
on a special dataset of Sinhala social media comments and annotated with the labels regarding their sentiments.
