Manuscript Acceptance Policy
Correction, Retraction, Withdrawal, and Acceptance Policy
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous peer-review process. The journal maintains a selective publication standard, with an overall acceptance rate of approximately 50%. Acceptance decisions are based on originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal’s scope, and reviewer recommendations.
Correction Policy: Corrections to Published Articles
Authors are responsible for notifying the Executive Editor via email if any errors are identified in their published work. The journal reserves the right to determine whether a correction is warranted and the appropriate course of action.
Where a correction is approved, the necessary amendments will be incorporated into the online version of the article. A formal correction notice (erratum) will be published alongside the corrected article to maintain transparency and the integrity of the scholarly record.
Articles Published in an Issue
For articles already published in a journal issue, an erratum will be published in the next available issue and linked to the original article.
Retraction Policy: Retraction of a published article may be considered in cases involving:
- Fabricated, falsified, or unreliable data and findings
- Plagiarism or substantial duplication of previously published work
- Multiple or duplicate publication
- Serious ethical violations in research or publication
- Other forms of academic misconduct
Where concerns are raised and an investigation is ongoing, the journal may publish an Expression of Concern until a final decision is reached.
All retraction notices will clearly state the reasons for retraction and remain permanently linked to the article.
Articles Published Online
The article PDF will remain accessible but will be clearly watermarked as “Retracted” to preserve the scholarly record. A formal retraction notice will also be published.
Articles Published in an Issue
A retraction notice will be published in the next available issue and linked to the original publication.
Removal of Published Content
In exceptional circumstances involving legal obligations, court orders, privacy concerns, or other serious legal issues, the journal may remove article content. In such cases, article metadata (title, authors, publication details) will remain available, while the content will be replaced with a notice explaining the reason for removal. A formal notice will also be published online and/or in print.
Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal of manuscripts is generally discouraged and will only be considered under exceptional circumstances. Withdrawal requests are typically limited to manuscripts that have been accepted but have not yet been formally published, including articles available online as early versions or articles in press.
Reasons that may justify withdrawal include:
- Significant errors discovered prior to publication
- Accidental duplicate submission
- Violations of publication ethics
- False authorship claims
- Plagiarism
- Fraudulent or unauthorized use of data
- Legal or ethical concerns that may result in harm if the work remains publicly accessible
If a withdrawal request is approved, the manuscript will be removed from the electronic platform and replaced with a withdrawal notice indicating that the article has been withdrawn in accordance with the journal’s publication policies.
Authors should note that retaining copyright does not grant the right to withdraw an article after publication. Maintaining the integrity and permanence of the scholarly record remains a fundamental responsibility of the journal.
