This paper presents the development and validation of a real time predictive control system for a multiple
effect industrial juice evaporator using an Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). Traditional control
schemes like PID controllers and AI models often struggle to handle the nonlinearities, long delays, and coupling
effects in evaporation processes, leading to suboptimal energy usage and process instability. The study introduces a
fuzzy ANFIS framework specifically designed for predictive modeling and control of a single effect juice evaporation
unit.
